New Delhi, July 30 (ANI): Punjabi singer-turned-actor Roshan Prince, who is gearing up for the release of his upcoming comedy 'Main Teri Tu Mera', feels films should be made according to audience taste.

On being asked why more of comic based films are being made in Punjabi industry, Roshan, 34, said, "There have been many Punjabi films that deal with serious issues, films like 'Needhi Singh' and even my own film 'Kirpaan: The Sword of Honour' had serious subject. But, I personally feel that there is no fun of making serious films when audience doesn't want to watch it. If audience wants to laugh then make them laugh."

"In today's scenario there is lot of tension, so one spends two hours in theatres and watches the film to get entertain and to ease off their tension. Entertainment means entertainment only, at the end of the day nobody wants to take message from the film. In fact producers too have to make the movies that people want to watch," he added.

'Main Teri Tu Mera', is being directed by Ksshitij Chaudhary and would star actor Jazz Sodhi, Yamini Malhotra, Mankrit Aulakh and Karamjit Anmol in prominent roles.

The movie, is slated to hit theatres on August 19.
