Seems like Amitabh Bachchan had a nostalgic Sunday filled with memories of his father Harivanshrai Bachchan and National Award winning film 'Anand'.atleast his Sunday-tweets and blog post say so.

With a picture of the study-room full of his father's books in his Delhi-house 'Sopaan,' Big-B tweeted, "I sit on my Father's desk in Delhi, surrounded by his books, but more his inspiration by being on his chair."

"From this chair and desk he wrote the last chapter of his biography and many of his last poems!!," he added.

In his official blog, the 73-year-old actor elaborated his thoughts, going down his memory lane, said that the house 'Sopaan,' which means staircase, was built when Harivanshrai Bachchan retired from Government service and from the Rajya Sabha.

Further, speaking on the name of the house, he said, "when my Father saw the house the first thing he noticed about it was that it had an incredible amount of steps on the stairs that covered the entire house .. hence 'sopaan'."

Amitabh, who is now in the National Capital for Shoojit Sircar's upcoming production venture 'Eve,' added, "Actually that is my travel gear into the city of Delhi, but most of what you see shall be the face of the film in my character .."

Along with it, the 'Piku' actor shared a picture of National award winning Hrishikesh Mukherjee film 'Anand' to celebrate its 45 years.

'Anand,' based on life of a cancer patient, had Rajesh Khanna and Amitabh Bachchan in its lead with Rajesh Khanna playing the title-character. This movie is now being looked up to as a cult in the Indian Cinema.

"Its 45 years of ANAND .. !! Amazement to be in it ..in the reflected glory of THE superstar Rajesh Khanna !," he tweeted.

"And 45 years of 'Anand' ! An incredible journey .. a journey of finding self, of finding others, of learning craft, of witnessing the tornado's of adulation for your co star, of anxious waiting for the result .. of that mid night meeting in the middle of the road on release and Gulzar's words of encouragement ..," elaborated Amitabh in his blog.

This movie, as written in his blog, was of course, a session for the then upcoming actor Amitabh, which turned him into a much matured star after it.

The 'Wazir' actor further tweeted on applauding India's big win over Bangladesh at the 'Asia Cup T20' on Sunday, "INDIA wins ASIA Cup T20 against BanglaDesh in typical Dhoni style with a massive 6 !! Congratulations team .. well fought BanglaD.
