Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Wednesday spoke to Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and assured him of all the possible help after the state was struck by a deadly storm late last night.
"Spoke to Bihar CM Shri Nitish Kumar who apprised me of the situation after the storm in three districts of the state," Rajnath Singh tweeted.
"Shri Kumar is visiting the storm affected areas to take stock of the situation. The Centre has assured the state of all possible help," he added.
At least 32 people were killed and over 80 others were injured by storms in the state.
An ex-gratia of Rs.4 lakh each has been sanctioned for the next of kin of the victims.
