Billboard Music Awards' top artist winner Sam Smith may not have been there to accept the honor in person, but the singer mesmerized the audience with the cutest recorded acceptance speech ever.
In the video, the 22-year-old singer, who was missing from the Las Vegas held event due to a recent vocal cord surgery, stayed silent throughout and used only cue cards to express, just like Andrew Lincoln had done in 'Love Actually,' People magazine reported.
Smith expressed that it was times like this he realized how lucky he was to have such "amazing fans," adding that he couldn't wait to be done with the surgery and sing his "ass off" for them.
The 'I'm Not The Only One' star even cracked a joke about Nicki Minaj's bottom, asked Taylor Swift to put 100 on black for him, and prepared a special dance for Ed Sheeran at Chippendales.
