Senior leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Shahnawaz Hussain said here today that the Bihar Government is responsible for the deteriorating law and order situation in the state.
"The law and order situation of Bihar has gone from bad to worse. This is a big issue. In Bhagalpur there was a death that happened inside a police station, and the police said that he had a heart attack and this is terrible. I think the government should compensate the family. Bihar is worried, because the situation is deteriorating by the hour. Maybe we are not ruling in Bihar but it is our duty as opposition to stand up and point out the mistakes," said Hussain.
Earlier this month, the Janata Dal (United) snapped a 17-year alliance with the BJP alleging that it is promoting divisive leader and Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi.
