BJP leaders hail party chief Amit Shah's new team

Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders have welcomed party president Amit Shah's new team which now consists of 11 vice presidents and eight general secretaries.

Senior BJP leader Siddharth Nath Singh said, "There is an important message here. There has been change in BJP politics. It is a young team. They will be full of energy. We welcome anyone who wants to make India strong."

BJP leader Shahnawaz Hussain told ANI, "The team formed by Amit bhai is excellent, full of youth and experience. We will work with enthusiasm."

The new general secretary, JP Nadda, also told ANI, "All the states and communities are represented in this team. It's a youthful team. All are below 50 years. I am sure PM Modi's mission will be fulfilled by Amit Shah's team."

Satyapal Malik, BJP vice president also said, "The new team is energetic and young, we have big hopes from the new team."

Anurag Thakur, president of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) also told ANI, "I thank Amit Shah ji. I have again been given a chance to work in the party. I will say that the promises we made before the elections will be fulfilled. Youth is really important for country's development."

Amit Shah, who succeeded Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh as the party's president, announced his new team today which comprises of 11 vice presidents and 8 general secretaries.

The new BJP vice presidents are B Dattatray, BS Yeddyurappa, Satyapal Malik, MA Naqvi, P Ruppala, Prabhat Jha, Raghuvar Das, Kiran Maheswari, Renu Devi and Dinesh Sharma.

J P Nadda, R P Rudy, Muralidhar Rao, Ram Madhav, Saroj Pandey, Bhupendra Yadav, R S Kateria, Ram Lal (organization) are the new BJP general secretaries.

Shahnawaz Hussain, Sudhanshu Trivedi, M.Lekhi, Sambit Patra, M J Akbar, Nalin Kohli, B S Shastri, GVLN Rao, Anil Baluni, L Kumarmangalam have been appointed as the BJP spokespersons.

Anurag Thakur will continue as BJYM chief while BJP Mahila Morcha chief will be Vijaya Rahatkar.

Abdul Rashid Ansari will be the new BJP Minority Morcha chief.
