Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Shahnawaz Hussain said that neither the BJP nor the Government has anything to do with Mr.Vaidik's meeting with 26/11 terror mastermind Hafiz Saeed.
Hussain said, "Rahul Gandhi thinks BJP and RSS are responsible for their present position, where people have not left him even in the position of leader of opposition. BJP condemns such statements given by Rahul Gandhi.
"RSS, which has always been working for the welfare of the country, does not need any certificate from Rahul Gandhi," he added.
Rahul Gandhi had earlier said that veteran journalist and political analyst Ved Pratap Vaidik belongs to the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).
Ramdev aide and senior journalist Vaidik has been facing criticism from the opposition after his recent meeting with 26/11 terrorist mastermind Hafiz Saeed in Lahore.
