Communist Party of India (CPI) leader Atul Anjan on Friday said yoga guru Baba Ramdev and Prime Minister Narendra Modi had promised to give the names of persons involved in black money issue but now they are stepping back from it.

Anjan told ANI, "Baba Ramdev and Prime Minister Narendra Modi promised during the election campaign that as soon as the party wins the election black money will be brought back. They also promised to announce all the names of the defaulters. But after being appointed as the Prime Minister of India, the list of 742 names given by Germany was not announced."

"Dr. Manmohan Singh's government refused to announce those names giving the reason of relations with foreign countries. Same statement has been given by present government as well. However, all the 742 names in the list are known to everybody.

"First Baba Ramdev disappeared from the assembly and now through Nishikant Dubey the government has put forward its view that black money can never be brought back," he added.

Godda MP Nishikant Dubey yesterday said in the assembly session that we (BJP) cannot bring back the black money.
