Congress leader Shakeel Ahmad on Tuesday said that the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh( RSS) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will be using the reservation plank to gain votes from both anti-reservation and pro-reservation supporters.
"BJP is following a divide and rule policy for political gain," he said.
Shakeel Ahmad also accused the BJP Government for dividing the people by creating issues and using the emotions of the people as a token to gain political votes.
Earlier, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat called for a panel to decide which categories require reservation and for how long, later, the BJP reacted and said that it does not support any reconsideration of the existing constitutional provision of reservation for the SC, ST, OBC and Extremely Backward Classes".
