Following the collapse of a building in Vishnu Garden, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday put it clear that they don't want to blame anyone till the time proper technical investigation is conducted into the matter.

"I think technical enquiry should be conducted. Let there be proper investigation. I don't want to put allegation on anyone before it. It would be better to give any judgment after the investigation otherwise I would be biased," BJP leader Satish Upadhyay said.

He further said that if the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) was involved in any lapses, then action would also be taken against it.

"I don't want to politicise this incident. And I don't want to blame anyone either. But the question arises, that the agency which did digging had properly followed the dos and don'ts or not? Did Jal board have taken proper permission from monitoring agency? If lapses happened with MCD, then MCD would not be spared," he added.

The collapse of four-storey building claimed lives of six people and injured over eight.

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Jarnail Singh blamed the Municipal Corporation of Delhi for the collapse.
