Blake Shelton recently took to the social media to pay tribute to his late brother on his 25th death anniversary.
Paying tribute to Richie Shelton, the 39-year-old singer shared a touching note on his Twitter page, which read "Wow... 25 years ago today we lost my brother Richie Shelton. He's still my hero going strong. Wish everyone could've known him," E! Online reports.
Notably, Miranda Lambert's 2011 single 'Over You', which she and her former husband Shelton wrote together, is said to be inspired by Richie.
Blake's brother had died at the age of 24 in a car crash in 1990.
The singer was 14 years old at the time of his brother's death.
