Blast on railway track kills 8, injures 30 in Pakistan

A bomb explosion on a passenger train has claimed the lives of at least eight people and wounded over 30 others in Pakistan's Jacobabad area.

The incident occurred near the Unnar Wah Railway Station.

The express train was heading towards Peshawar from Karachi.

Pakistan Railway officials said three passenger wagons had been derailed and two of them had been severely damaged by the explosion.

No one has claimed the responsibility for the bombing as yet.
