American R&B singer Bobby Brown recently took to the social media to disclose as to why he pulled off his latest South Carolina concert.

The 47-year-old singer, who was likely to perform at Charleston Jam Fest at the North Charleston Coliseum & Performing Arts Center, took to his Twitter handle to express his gratitude to his fans over the concern and wrote, "My Gastroenterologist has made the decision to keep me resting for another week, I recently had surgery and the recovery time has taken longer than expected," E! Online reports.

Earlier, it was reported that Brown has called off his concert after Bobbi Kristina Brown's autopsy report was released in public.

The 'Candy Girl' hit-maker was scheduled to perform with Keith Sweat, Jagged Edge and 112 in Tampa, FL in April.

Bobbi Kristina autopsy results stated that drug intoxication and near-drowning caused pneumonia that led to her 2015 death.

After his daughter autopsy report was released, Bobby said in a statement, "First and foremost, 23 years ago today, Bobbi Kristina was born. Krissy will always live in my heart and soul. I love my baby girl."

Bobbi was found face down and unresponsive in her suburban Atlanta town home January 31, 2015 and died in hospice care on July 26.

Brown's death was similar to the way her mother died.
