Boeing reshuffles executives on Dreamliner 787 team following safety glitches

Boeing Co has reportedly announced internally that the company is rotating five executives in its commercial airplanes division following a series of incidents due to technical challenges.

Fox News reports that Mike Sinnett, the chief engineer on the company's 787 Dreamliner team, will become the vice president of product development.

Bob Whittington, the chief engineer on Boeing's 777 airliner team, will take over as chief project engineer for the 787, the report added.

According to the report, the move comes in a bid to increase the bench strength of the teams.
