Apple's iPhone4 has become the most sold smartphone in price-conscious countries like India where the demand is growing with many buyers purchasing a smartphone for the first time.
The Fox News reports that lower-priced phones, like three year old iPhone4, has helped to boost the overall sales of the company with its rising demand in India.
Earlier, Apple had announced its Q3 sales rising to 31.2 million, which is 20 percent higher than last year and 18 percent more than expected by the analysts.
Apple has been adopting more aggressive tactics to sell its oldest smartphone in markets with price-conscious consumers.
