Director Rahul Rawail, who is known for films such as 'Love Story', 'Jeevan Ek Sanghursh' and 'Anjaam' took to Twitter to call Bollywood actor Imran Khan, 'mentally challenged'.
The rift started when, the 'Jaane Tu.. Ya Jaane Na' star stated in a recent interview "Is Rahul Rawail still around"?, on being asked about director's involvement in creating misunderstandings between him and actor Ranbir Kapoor.
Rahul, who was twice nominated for Filmfare awards for Best Director Tweeted, "Imran Khan in yesterday's Mumbai Mirror; "Is Rahul Rawail still around?" My sympathies with this mentally challenged person."
Earlier Rawail's nephew, Rajat too had criticized Imran on Facebook.
The director is also known for launching Bollywood actresses, Kajol and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
