Six-time Olympic champion Usain Bolt has said that he is ready to defend his sprint titles at the World Championships next month in Beijing, insisting that he is still the 'world number one'.
The Jamaican sprinter, who has been struggling for fitness, warmed up for Beijing showdown by clocking 9.87seconds to win the 100 metres race in wet conditions at the Anniversary Games in London on Friday.
Bolt said that he is still the number one, insisting that he would like to remain the same until his retirement, the BBC reported.
Bolt further said that he is not afraid to face in-form American sprinter Justin Gatlin next month, adding that he is ready to win in Beijing.
Although Gatlin has clocked 2015's fastest 100m and 200m this season, he is yet to race against Bolt.
