'James Bond' star Ben Winshaw has been roped in to play Freddie Mercury in a film about rock band Queen, it has been revealed.

Winshaw, famous for his portrayal of Q in 'Skyfall', replaced Sacha Baron Cohen, who had been pulled out off the biopic due to creative differences, the BBC reported.

The film, which will be directed by Dexter Fletcher, is going to follow the band in the run-up to Live Aid in 1985.
