Indian tennis ace Rohan Bopanna set up a mouth-watering semi-final clash against Leander Paes after both players won their respective mixed doubles match of the US Open at Flushing Meadows.
Bopanna and his Chinese Taipei partner Yung-Jan Chan claimed a 7-6, 5-7, 13-11 win over Su-Wei Hsieh of Chinese Taipei and Henri Kontinen of Finland in a pulsating quarter-final contest that lasted one hour and 50 minutes.
Meanwhile, the fourth seeded pair of Paes and Martina Hingis advanced to the semi-finals after receiving a walk-over from the Romanian pair of Simona Halep and Horia Tecau in the last-eight encounter.
