England cricket star Kevin Pietersen has begged for attention from Aussie fans on Twitter during the summer Ashes tour.

According to The Daily Telegraph, Pietersen has returned to the English playing group after compassionate leave, while Mitch Marsh will line up for the WA XI after overcoming a major hamstring injury.

He asked on Twitter if anyone was using the social networking site in Australia as it was getting boring for him and he might have to get rid of it in the country.

However, Pietersen may have been usurped by teammate Stuart Broad (@StuartBroad8) in terms of Aussie hatred, after his refusal to walk from a blatant edge during the Ashes series in England earlier this year, the report said.
