Brad Pitt is said to be going through the last details of a deal with HBO bosses to star in the crime-drama series 'True Detective.'
According to sources, the 50-year-old actor has given the green light to the project and the thing blocking the role in the acclaimed series is fitting it in with his movie commitments, Daily Star reported.
Pitt would be taking over from Matthew McConaughey, 44, and Woody Harrelson, 52.
A senior TV source said that Pitt is already part of the HBO family and if work commitments allow he would become a part of the second season of 'True Detective.
