Brazilian legend Ronaldo believes that Portugal international Cristiano Ronaldo deserves the coveted Ballon d'Or award, saying that he is the clear favorite to win the prestigious trophy.
Ronaldo stated that it is incredible to watch Cristiano play as he combines his technical quality with his physical force intelligently, adding that his numbers were unthinkable during his time, China Daily reported.
While Real Madrid striker Ronaldo will be defending the award after winning it last year, Messi, on the other hand, will be aiming to win the honour for the fifth time.
Ronaldo scored 51 goals in the 2013-14 season, with also helping Real Madrid to win the Champions League.
The coveted award is scheduled to announce the winner on 12th January in Zurich.
He further said that it is lot clearer than last year, adding that it is obvious he is going to win as he was excellent previous season.
