Hence, this Children's Day, Pebbles n Pearls Child and Adolescent Healthcare Centre, Bangalore, offered free depression diagnose and counseling for children between ages group six years to 15 years, from November 14 to 18.
This session will be conducted by a team of trained counselors under the supervision of Dr Gowher Yusuf. Patients necessitating assistance will be referred to appropriate levels of treatment within each facility.

Commenting on this alliance, Dr Gowher, Yusuf Pediatrician said, "Mental health diagnosis should be a routine part of precautionary medical upkeep. It is commonly believed that children can't be depressed. Nevertheless, we are seeing children as young as six suffer from depression. These difficulties get exhibited in several forms fluctuating from bad academic performance to suicidal thoughts. Prompt intervention and treatment are crucial in aiding children regain control over problems that may interfere with their daily functions and responsibilities. We are dedicated to educating parents about mental health and the related services that we offer to the children.
