Brit women own shoes worth 25 billion pounds

A poll has revealed that an average woman in UK own 19 pairs of shoes and the country's complete shoe collection is worth a whopping 25 billion pounds.

It was revealed that if the enormous shoe collection were placed next to each other they would stretch round the Earth's circumference almost three times, the Daily Express reported.

The poll, which was conducted by Mode in Pelle on 1,000 women, also found that women of Birmingham wear the highest heels, with an average height of 2.7 inches.
