England Twenty20 captain Stuart Broad has reportedly admitted that he may quit his role as the team's captain following a humiliating defeat by the Netherlands in the World Twenty20 tournament.

The skipper said that he thoroughly enjoyed the role over the past couple of years, but the day was 'extremely disappointing' as England lost to the Netherlands.

According to the Mirror, Broad was left red-faced following a 45-run defeat to the Netherlands, which was their first win of the World T20 tournament.

Broad said that he is not sure if he would continue captaining the T20 side, as decisions will be made right at the top over the next month or so for England and discussions would go on from there.

Broad also said that it has been an 'awful' time for England as a cricket side and added that the players not only have let the small amount of fans, who traveled to Bangladesh for the tournament, down but the fans back home too.
