Instead of helping his team to overcome recent 5-0 whitewash at the hands of Australia, England pacer Stuart Broad was spotted surfing with pretty blonde friend Lexi Penwill.
As his teammates trained, Broad remained in Sydney with companion Lexi. The duo were spotted sunning themselves and paddleboarding in Sydney Harbour.
Stuart Broad was not at at the Gabba for Friday's second ODI. Instead, he was 1000 km away in Sydney taking lessons from Lexi on the best ways to paddleboard.
Lexi's coaching worked, as Broad went from sitting on his paddleboard to stand up alongside her as they boarded along the Harbour.
Broad has been rested for the first two one-day matches despite three England players, including fellow pacer Steve Finn, forced to leave England's tour.
He distanced himself from any romantic link between the two, news.com.au reports.
