Brooke Shields' husband Chris Henchy is reportedly not planning to pick up the model-turned-actress' new memoir because he can't bear to read about the painful experiences the actress suffered during her youth.

The 'Blue Lagoon' star asserted that Henchy hasn't read her memoir and he's afraid to read it, Contactmusic reported.

The 49-year-old actress continued that her husband knows all the stories there's nothing in there he hadn't heard from her, but according to her reliving some of that stuff would be hard.

Shields has opened up about her early life with her alcoholic mother Teri, her insecurities after losing her virginity to her college sweetheart, Dean Cain, and her volatile marriage to former tennis ace Andre Agassi, among other things, in 'There Was a Little Girl: The Real Story of My Mother and Me'.
