Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati on Tuesday rubbished reports that her party would support the Land Acquisition Bill, which she alleged to be against the farmers.
"Yesterday some news channels were showing that BSP might support the Central Government on the Land Acquisition Bill. I deny this news. This bill is totally against the farmers. This bill is in favour of the businessmen. Our party will never support the present Land Bill," Mayawati told the media here.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi had earlier at an all-party meeting convened ahead of the Monsoon Session of Parliament urged all political parties to move ahead on the Land Bill.
Meanwhile, the BSP supremo said that External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje should be removed from their posts over the controversy surrounding former IPL chief Lalit Modi.
