A researcher has said that the new camel evidence that is now putting Biblical events into question should not be read into so fast.

According to the New York Times, many biblical stories involving camels took place long before the animals were actually domesticated - Tel Aviv University researchers used radiocarbon dating to find out that the earliest known camels to be domesticated in Israel lived decades, and in some cases centuries, after they had been featured in biblical tales, the Verge reported.

The research provided further proof that many of the stories were written well after the events took place.

However, Tel Aviv University professor Dr. Mizrahi told a UK publication that one should be careful not to rush into any conclusion that the new findings automatically deny any historical value from the biblical stories.
