A cargo worker in Amsterdam, who was the last to see MH17 passengers alive, described the tragedy as one of the darkest days of his life.
According to the Mirror, cargo worker, Martijn Hoebee paid homage to the dead by saying that he was working at the airport when the plane was shot down and remembered talking to the crew before the plane took off from the airport for Kuala Lumpur.
Hoebee's Facebook post was shared by his friend Fatmir Jusufi on Twitter.
The report added that one of the passengers aboard MH17 had also posted a picture of the plane on the social networking site, Facebook saying that if he disappears, the world should know what the flight looked like, referring jokingly to the Malaysian Airlines Flight MH370 which vanished in March with 239 people on board and has not been found till today.
