Cate Blanchett has responded to Dylan Farrow's open letter saying that she hopes that Woody Allen's and Mia Farrow's families find some resolution and peace.
The 44-year-old actress told website Hollywood Elsewhere, outside the Santa Barbara film festival, that it's obviously been a long and painful situation for the family, the Sydney Morning Herald reported.
In an open letter, Dylan had mentioned a number of actors including Blanchett and asked them to examine their relationship with Allen after she detailed being abused by the director when she was only seven years old.
