Cate Blanchett might soon bag her third Oscar as she can be awarded with the best actress title for her role in her latest flick 'Carol' as per the odds released by award show website GoldDerby.com.
The 46-year-old Australian actress played a married woman in the film, which is set in 1959 in New York, who risks everything for an affair with a shop assistant played by Rooney Mara, reported News.com.au.
However, according to the online portal, Leonardo DiCaprio is the favourite for best actor for his role in upcoming film 'The Revenant'.
A dozen of America's top film critics have served up their picks for nominations on the site and Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu directorial has scored two top film votes and 11 for a nomination next year.
