Cate Blanchett wins 'Best Actress' Oscar

Cate Blanchett has won the Oscar for 'Best Actress in a Leading Role' for her performance in 'Blue Jasmine'.

The 44-year-old actress, who played the role of Jasmine, had earlier won a Golden Globe Award and a BAFTA Award for her performance.

Blanchett had previously won the Best Supporting Actress Oscar for her performance in 'The Aviator' in 2004.
