Midfielder Santi Cazorla struck an injury-time penalty as Arsenal edged past Southampton 2-1 in their fourth Premier League clash at Emirates Stadium on Saturday.
It was Southampton who took the lead first when Dusan Tadic's free-kick rebounded in off Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech for an own goal in the 18th minute of the match.
Arsenal soon levelled the score for themselves via defender Laurent Koscielny's overhead kick in the 29th minute of the match.
However, Arsenal conceded a penalty in the injury time after the slightest of tugs on Olivier Giroud's shirt by Jose Fonte.
Cazorla did manage to take full advantage of that opportunity by converting the penalty corner into a goal to ensure Arsenal finish the match on a winning side.
