A special CBI court asked the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Wednesday to ensure that health-related needs of corporate lobbyist Deepak Talwar are taken care of in line with to procedural protocol.
Considering that ED being the responsible institution, the court said, it is hopeful that all precautions are being taken during custodial interrogation.
Talwar had moved the court seeking direction to sleep in the ED office instead of Tughlak Road Police Station owing to his health issues.
Talwar, who is in ED custody, was deported from Dubai on January 30 and was arrested by the agency after reaching New Delhi.
He is currently in the custody till February 7 as a main accused who allegedly facilitated dispersal of profit making routes of national carrier Air India to private airlines using his contacts.
