Johnny William, DIG of Police stressing on the fact that they have to keep a watch said, "There's not much to worry but we have to be sensible and responsible."

Speaking to ANI, a local aged resident said that they had no idea where they will go. "There has been heavy firing since 9 am in the morning. All kinds of bombs are being thrown. Special bullet proof vehicles have been sent for us and we are sending the children," he added.

Prithipal Singh, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) who was also present there said, "The administration has decided to evacuate the residents of the Boliya village in bullet proof vans and take them to designated safe places. We have four bullet proof bunkers for the purpose. We are giving preference to children, women and old people and evacuating them first."
