Chelsea eased past Maccabi Tel Aviv by claiming a 4-0 win over the latter in their first Champions League clash at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday.
In the early first half, Chelsea winger Willian scored a free-kick to help his side take a lead, the Guardian reported.
Midfielder Oscar extended their lead in the 45th minute, while Diego Costa scored a third goal for Chelsea in the second-half.
Subsequently, Chelsea stamped their authority with a late goal from Cesc Fabregas .
Meanwhile, Maccabi made several efforts to increase their lead but could not succeed.
Chelsea will play their next match with Porto on September 30.
