A police jawan was today shot dead by the Naxals in Farsegarh village of Chhattisgarh's Bijapur district.
The jawan, identified as Tarun Sodhi, was shot dead at his residence in Farsegarh village.
As per reports, the jawan was posted in Farsegarh police station.
Further details are awaited.
Earlier on Sunday, at least two jawans received minor injuries during an exchange of fire between the police and Naxals in the state's Bastar region.
