A Delhi court on Tuesday dismissed the bail plea of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLAs, Prakash Jarwal and Amanatullah Khan in connection with alleged assault case of Delhi Chief Secretary Anshu Prakash.
Jarwal and Khan are accused of allegedly assaulting the Chief Secretary on the night of February 19, during a meeting with Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal at his residence.
The Chief Secretary had alleged that he was attacked in the presence of Kejriwal, after being summoned to discuss Aadhaar-related problems.
The medical examinations proved that the Chief Secretary had been assaulted.
The two had been arrested on February 21 and sent to 14 days judicial custody.
