Chris Brown has been released after being arrested for allegedly attacking a man, as his crime was reduced from a felony to a less serious misdemeanor.
According to TMZ.com, the 24-year-old singer pleaded not guilty and hence was released but is required to stay 100 yards away from the alleged victim, the Mirror reported.
The 'Fine China' hitmaker was held by the Washington police for punching a man and in the process breaking his nose outside a hotel.
The victim was then taken to the hospital and Brown, along with his bodyguard, Chris Hollosy were arrested.
According to sources, the incident took place as a response to someone attempting to gain access to Brown's tour bus.
