Christina Aguilera set to join 'Nashville'

Christina Aguilera has been added to the cast list of the musical drama 'Nashville.'

The new mother is set to play a pop star character named Jade St. John who decides she wants to record a country album, E! Online reported.

The 34-year-singer will star in several episodes as the successful singer who has been going non-stop since she broke into the music world ten years ago.
