Christoph Waltz has revealed that his will not be playing the role of Bond villain Blofeld in 'Spectre' as speculated, but instead his character's name is Franz Oberhauser.
The 58-year-old actor told GQ that the rumors about him playing the infamous villian started off on Internet, which was like a pest, and are completely untrue, Daily Express reported.
The Oscar-winning actor is confirmed to star as a character named Franz Oberhauser, but little is known about what this mysterious role involves.
Despite the notoriety of the Bond movies, the two-time Oscar winner admitted that he hesitated before taking the role.
'Spectre,' also starring Lea Seydoux, Monica Bellucci, Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris and Ben Whishaw, is scheduled for UK release on 6 November.
