Christopher Atkins has revealed that the director of his film 'Blue Lagoon' had wanted him to be attracted towards his co-star Brooke Shields.
Aktins has said on 'Oprah: Where Are They Now', that the cast had spent the first two weeks living on a boat and getting into character, the Huffington Post reported.
He said that he was 18-years-old and Shields was just 14, and the director had stuck a picture of her over his bunk on the boat so that he could start getting attracted to her.
The 52-year-old said that if the attraction comes out in his eyes, it will come out in real time on film too.
Atkins added that he and the 48-year-old actress had a little bit of a romantic, innocent sort of romance in the very beginning of the film, and that it was very nice as they were very good friends.
