In a fitting tribute to outgoing Pakistan veterans Misbah-ul-Haq and Shahid Afridi, Australia skipper Michael Clarke has praised both over their illustrious one-day cricket career.
Both Misbah and Afridi had announced they would retire from one-day cricket after the conclusion of the World Cup with skipper Misbah continuing to play Tests while Afridi will feature in Twenty20 cricket.
Clarke said that they have been fantastic, experienced players, adding that Misbah was a 'good leader', and 'Boom Boom' Afridi was one of a kind and a real entertainer, the Dawn reported. The Australian skipper further said that they have had some tough challenges in the past, adding that he wishes them both well in future.
