The Justice Agarwal Inquiry Commission on Friday, issued a non bailable warrant against Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) chief Mukesh Kumar Meena and also ordered to attach 30% of his salary to the warrant after he did not appear before the Commission formed by the AAP government to probe the alleged multi-crore CNG-Fitness scam.
Summons had been issued to Mukesh on September 3 for passing the order that Delhi's Anti Corruption Bureau would not share any information with the Commission.
The Arvind Kejriwal government had on August 11 constituted the Commission of Inquiry headed by Agarwal to probe the alleged Rs 100-crore CNG fitness scam in which a number of officials of the previous Sheila Dikshit government were under the scanner.
RTI activist Vivek Garg had exposed the CNG Fitness Scam and alleged that the contract for conducting lane test of commercial vehicles before granting fitness certificates was granted to ESP India without inviting any tender in 2002.
Garg had sought registration of FIR against the then Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit, ex Transport Minister Arvinder Singh Lovely, ex Transport Commissioner R K Verma and ESP India.
