Legions of rock lovers around the country, who amid reports of Coldplay concert tickets costing sky high have started saving money, may take a sigh of relief as according to a recent revelation, the visit is going to cost you absolutely nothing.

The global citizen forum, who is responsible for convening the performance recently cleared the air by announcing that the event is no concert but the Rock band's recital will be a part of the first-ever Global Citizen Festival in India.

The festival is organized to mark the occasion of 'World Toilet Day' and mobilize social change in the country it.

"Just like our annual festival in Central Park, tickets to the Indian Festival will be FREE. Fans will earn them through taking actions in support of education, equality, and sanitation campaigns," posted the forum on its official blog.

The 'Ghost Stories' hit-makers also vouched for it by retweeting the Global citizen's tweet, which read, "@coldplay headline the 1st #GlobalCitizen Festival in India on 11/19! Tix are FREE by taking action. More Monday!".

Tickets to the festival can be earned by signing up to become a Global Citizen and completing the festival's action campaigns in the areas of education, equality, and clean water and sanitation at GlobalCitizen.in.

The event will kick start on November 19 in Mumbai.
