Wayne Rooney, who is in talks with Chelsea and Arsenal about a megabucks move, will face a 370-mile commute if he moves to a London club because wife Coleen wants to stay in the north.
According to pals, the Manchester United does not want to move to the south as his close family, including parents Tony and Colette, and friends all live in the north, the Daily Star reported.
Coleen, who has two young sons - Kai, three, and two-month-old Klay - reportedly wants her husband around.
It is being speculated that the Liverpool-born footie would have to commute from their home in Prestbury, Cheshire, which is 185 miles from the capital.
