Jeison Murillo's first half goal gave Columbia a 1-0 victory over Brazil on Wednesday, thus keeping its hope of reaching the quarterfinals of Copa America alive.
The game, fought bravely by both the teams, was however, tarnished towards the end after Brazil's Neymar and Columbia's Carlos Bacca were shown red cards after the final whistle.
The Barcelona forward kicked a ball at Pablo Armero in frustration, before Bacca was also sent off for a disciplinary heave, the BBC reported.
Brazil toiled hard in the whole game but were unable to put the ball behind the goal post.
Defender Murillo scored the only goal with a close-range finish in the 36th minute of the game.
It was Columbia's first competitive meeting since Brazil's 2-1 victory in the World Cup quarter-finals last summer and the match began with
the same intensity and excitement that marked that encounter.
Colombia will next play Peru in their final Group C game, with Brazil taking on Venezuela.
