A Delhi Court on Wednesday completed its scrutiny of documents related to Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh's LIC agent Anand Chauhan in a money laundering case.
Chauhan has moved several miscellaneous applications on which a reply has been sought from the Tihar Jail authorities.
The next hearing in the matter will take place on April 11.
Chauhan was arrested in July last year in Chandigarh by the Enforcement Directorate under the provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) for not cooperating with the agency.
The Enforcement Directorate had in September last year filed a chargesheet against Chauhan in a money laundering case involving the Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister besides others.
He was instrumental in investing Rs. five crore in LIC polices in the name of Singh's family including his wife and children.
