Philippe Coutinho and Rafinha have received international call-ups from Brazil for next month's friendlies against Costa Rica and the United States after Chelsea duo Oscar and Ramires dropped out of the squad due to injury.

Earlier this month, team coach Dunga had attracted criticism for his decision to omit Coutinho and Rafinha for the two games in the United States in September, Sport24 reported.

The five-time world champions have only these two friendlies before the commencement of South American qualifiers for the 2018 World Cup in October.
